The Roy Orbison

$80.00
sold out

Mr. Cash wasn’t the only man in black. Roy Orbison could take the cake for that too. Known for moving very little on the stage, his dark clothing and hair blended into the background whilst his dark shades covered his eyes and eased his stage fright. His operatic voice isn’t one that will ever be forgotten. A life cut tragically short, he posthumously reached a top 10 hit with “You Got It” in 1989.

The Guitar / Bass Slinger straps take repurposing to the max. Made from pre-loved belts and remnant leathers. Each belt has a unique story to tell and reminds me of a particular artist and their stage persona. I would recommend a weight limit for your bag of no more than 8lbs when using this strap.

Strap features matte nickel hardware and measures 37” from end to end. Best used as a shoulder strap or if you prefer to wear your bag “bumbag” style slung tight across your chest.

Please note all items in the Lyric & Aster store are handmade. They are crafted of pre-loved, dead stock or salvage. Meaning they have lived a life before and may have small blemishes or scuffs, spots, mild unevenness rust or a touch of verdigris. These are not considered flaws due to a) the nature of each item and b) I myself am human, not a machine – all items are upcycled – punched, stitched, sewn by hand.

Please take time to view the photos posted for any and all items as they are a large part of the description. Should you have further inquiries, please do not hesitate to reach out.
